Maj. Gen. Ronald L. Johnson, Deputy Commanding General, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, presented the Sapper Spirit Award to Cadet First Class John Davis in recognition of his rank as top graduating cadet in the West Point engineer program.

Members and staff of SAME attended the Convocation of Professional Engineering Societies and the National Academy of Engineering on May 7, in Washington, D.C., to network and gain information on K-12 outreach and continuing education opportunities. Clay Kelly, Chair, K-12 Outreach Committee, Strand Assoc., SAME Continuing Education Manager Kristin Duckworth and Matt Wallace, ETI Professionals, were among the attendees.
